Italian food cooked with Neapolitan passion

 

Our restaurant has built a reputation for both its amazing food and relaxing atmosphere, all food is cooked to order so most tastes and requirements can be accommodated – we do not provide a separate children’s menu as we find all children are more than happy with our recommendations!

Our current menu appears below and is supplemented by a daily specials board which includes many other starter & main course dishes and fresh fish which is such a major part of Neapolitan life.

Antipasto misto Olive Tree � a dish of assorted cured meats, prosciutto, coppa, salami Romana and mortadella with mini mozzarella balls and marinated olives

Polenta al invernale .. warm goat's cheese on grilled polenta with toasted seeds and a caramelised onion and port sauce 8.50

My boyfriend and I ate at The Olive Tree last night. The decor combines traditional eighteenth century features of the building, with an authentic Italian feel.There are lovely oils of Venice amongst others on the wall. It is incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food, I had a carne course of duck and it was around sixteen pounds, what you would expect to pay in a very mediocre pub. The staff are both warm, welcoming and professional, the service was fast but one was not rushed. It was busy although it was a Thursday night.I would definitely recommend it, especially for a special occasion. Laura
